Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

22 months of Intermediate Care Unit experience is required.

Travel experience is required.

3 months of experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license in hand at the time of application.

This role may require floating to additional units and locations

Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be eligible to apply for this role.

COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

All RNs (all specialties) must have NIHSS & EHAC within last 12 months. Certs can be obtained during onboarding.

Float Required to units of equal or lesser acuity

Weekend shifts per contract: Half of scheduled shifts

Skills Required: PCU/IMC/Stepdown, telemetry-on the unit monitoring, feeding tube care and management, hemodialysis management, renal failure, accessing ports, blood product administration, central line management, peripheral line care, PICC line management, starting IVs, Heparin protocols, Manage cardiac drips-no titration, CVA, Spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, surgical drains, HFNC, nasal Cannula, oxygen face masks, isolation precautions, wound care

Local Traveler: No local We do not contract staff residing in the following counties : Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris.

BLS and ACLS must be from AHA, ARC, or American Safety and Health Institute
