Duties and responsibilities - As the Nurse Manager you will:

• Develop, plan and implement annual OSHA, JCAHO and State/Federal required in-service training programs
• Analyze, develop and implement skills enhancement as necessary, for Associates and licensed professional personnel
• Participate in Campus QAPI program meeting analyzing data to direct future initiatives in Associate Development
• Strategize with the Departmental Directors to identify potential developmental areas throughout the campus.
• Develop course curriculum to address identified needs of each department
• Develop and manage Clinical Competency testing for licensed nursing, CNAs and RCAs
• Regularly develop and revise effective written materials such as outlines, lesson plans, handouts, evaluation tools and CQI initiatives
• Observe and instruct staff in following safety practices at all times.
• Oversee restorative nursing program.
• Participate in Resident Care Plans.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Registered Nurse with current Illinois licensure.
• At least 1 year experiemce in general staff nursing.
