The Orthopedic Medical Surgical Pediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist will focus on staff development and lead efforts related to the identification, implementation and evaluation of unit specific education, patient education and evidence-based practice.

The Pediatric Step Down Nurse Specialist will report to the Director of Education and the Medical Surgical Nurse Director and will work with a well-trained and tenured staff of RNs.

The Ortho Med Surg Pediatric Nurse Specialist will focus on the following: orientation, competency program, in-service education, continuing education, career development/role transition, and research.

The Pediatric Education Specialist will work in a surgical unit with heavy emphasis on orthopedic general surgical patient populations. Combining the best in orthopedic medicine and surgical care, along with strong rehabilitation and diagnostic imaging programs, the practice is nationally recognized for outstanding orthopedic care and innovative research.

The Pediatric Step Down Unit Clinical Nurse Specialist CNS will act as consultant and expert in giving clinical counsel to staff, physicians, insurance companies andpatientsfamilies. The PediatricGeneral Clinical Nurse Specialist CNS will oversee staff development in the complex care center while also leading efforts related to implementation, evaluation and identification of evidence based practice, staff specific education and patient education.
