Human Resources Internship
Job Summary: This is a paid ,entry-level, seasonal internship to introduce the functions of Human Resources to innovating college students.Responsible for daily duties in Human Resources. This position is accountable for delivering a superior Guest experience, while enforcing all park policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Completing all paperwork required for Team Members onboarding
Assisting Team Members with any issues that may arise
Answering the Human Resources phone line, answering employee questions and directing calls as needed
Filing paperwork efficiently and accurately for all employee personnel files
Maintaining proper record keeping of all files
Assisting in making phone calls to schedule interviews and complete paperwork
Sorting and issuing paychecks on a weekly basis
Maintaining a professional image at all times
Being knowledgeable of Six Flags policies and procedures
Enforcing all Six Flags New England policies
Assisting in other areas of the Human Resource Department
Performing other incidental and related duties as required and assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
At least 18 years of age
Basic computer skills and ability/willingness to learn
Must be able to work in a confidential environment
Must have excellent customer service skills
Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time
Must be able to work in a team environment
Be able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language
Be available to work flexible hours at nights and on weekends; a minimum of 20 hours per week
Other Functions: All other duties assigned or necessary to support the park as a whole.
