An excellent opportunity is available for an Acute Care Hospital Oncology Nurse with a highly awarded, non-profit organization in North Carolina. This organization is seeking someone who is dedicated and focused on providing essential, high quality care and customer service to its patients.

The Oncology RN will be providing care for patients in Medical Surgical Inpatient Oncology nursing units within the hospital. They will assess, coordinate and prioritize all patient treatments and be in communication with the entire care team as needed. They will also be responsible for ensuring that quality care is maintained. The RN will report to the Nurse Managers of the departments they are assigned to work.

The Hospital Oncology Nurse should be a strong clinical nurse that has previous hospital inpatient critical care, stepdown, telemetry, medical surgical, or oncology experience. They will serve as the advocate for patients and provide opportunities for success resulting in successful outcomes. The Registered Nurse should be a graduate of an accredited nursing school, licensed in the state of North Carolina and BLS Certified.
