    The RN Staff Educator assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates learning opportunities for employees in order to promote quality patient care and to
    enhance wellness, and on-going growth and development of staff.

    STATUS:Full Time

    LOCATION:330 Monroe AveRochester, NY

    DEPARTMENT:Home Care

    SCHEDULE:Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm

    ATTRIBUTES

    • AAS in Nursing required , BSN preferred

    • Valid NYS RN license required

    • Valid NYS Driver's License required

    • Previous education experience preferred, preferably in Adult Learning and curriculum development

    • Home care experience preferred

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Education. Develops, implements, and/or facilitates educational programs that meet the learning needs of staff. Promotes quality health care, employee growth, and personal wellness. Identifies, develops, and validates specific strategies to meet the learning needs of customers. Evaluation of staff competency in nursing skills and/ or procedures.

    • Collaboration. Identifies, develops, and validates specific strategies to meet the learning needs of customers. Provides leadership in areas of expertise. Evaluates and documents the effectiveness of educational offerings. Participates in activities that enhance personal and professional growth. Works collaboratively with colleagues to meet Agencies goals/objectives.

    LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:

    NYS DL - valid New York State Driver's License - New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (NYSDMV), RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

    PAY RANGE:

    $67,500.00 - $90,000.00

    The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
