    Screw Machine Operator

    Job Summary

    Wickman or Davenport Screw Machine Set up Operator (Manufacture Fasteners for Automotive Industry)

    1st shift is 5am-330pm.

    2nd shift 4pm - 230am.

    Pay is based on experience

    M-F 10-hour days 10 hours of Overtime a week

    Pay day every Friday

    Job Duties

    Operate assigned mechanical equipment

    Ensure that items produced pass quality control requirements

    Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment and perform adjustments

    Read and interpret blue prints if applicable

    Use basic measuring instruments

    Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately

    Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)

    Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies, and procedures.

    Perform other duties as assigned

    Experience and Education

    Perform work under general supervision

    Handle moderately complex issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher level staff

    Possess beginning to working knowledge of subject matter

    3 to 5 years
