    Shift Details: 40 Hours per week. M - F with rotating on call weekends.

    The Crisis Services Unit in the Emergency Room provides its patients with the highest level of care for all ages as they face acute exacerbation of mental health symptoms. Our multi-disciplinary team is comprised of Psychiatrists, Registered Nurses, Nurse Technicians, and Social Workers. This locked subset of the main Emergency Room is equipped with features to provide optimal safety for our patients and staff. Our staff works in collaborative environments with strong interdisciplinary teams in a patient centered care model in a richly diverse work space.

    Job Description


    Under the supervision
    of the divisional director of the service, the nurse manager has 24-hour
    responsibility for the effective implementation of the philosophy, goals,
    policies, and procedures of the hospital and the nursing department and their
    effect on patient care in a designated unit. The nurse manager has authority to
    make decisions on that unit in the areas of patient care, human resource, and
    financial management in collaboration with the Director. RN, BS or BSN required.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • EPIC knowledge preferred
    • Five years clinical experience preferred
    • Supervisory experience preferred
    • Supports the use of evidence based guidelines and organizational policies and procedures to promote safe patient care and a safe practice environment
    • BLS required
    • ACLS preferred
