    Job Summary and Qualifications

    We are seeking an experienced and professional Registered Nurse to become our Sepsis Coordinator. You will help us reach the highest quality patient care through collaboration with a multidisciplinary team providing care for septic patients. Our dynamic and supportive team want you to apply now!

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • You will facilitate the development, implementation and ongoing adherence of sepsis program protocols and therapies.
    • You will ensure the protocols and therapies become the standard of care followed within the facility.
    • You collaborate with medical and hospital staff to provide multidisciplinary care to septic patients.
    • You provide education and clinical expertise to care team, patients, and families.
    • You Identify and integrate patient learning needs, abilities and readiness into the Plan of Care, all the time working in collaboration with the nursing team to develop and implement individualized teaching plans for patients and families.
    • You collect and analyze our sepsis program patient data to assist with documentation, coding, clinical care, and improved outcomes.
    • You participate in rounding and proactively respond to patient needs to improve patient outcome and the positive impacts for overall patient experience.

    Qualifications

      • Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 90 days of hire.
      • Bachelors Degree in Nursing required; Masters Degree in Nursing preferred.
      • Three to five years of acute care, critical care, and/or ED experience with a solid grasp of hemodynamics.
      • American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
      • Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills, ability to utilize hemodynamic equipment
