Pipeline Planner
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role,Pipeline Planner, areto:
- Primary Accountability is to develop detailed plans and schedules which should enable Trait and Pipeline Delivery teams as well as regional seed production and testing teams to successfully meet pipeline targets and cycle times for each crop, according to the phases of the pipeline they are accountable to manage. Additionally, the incumbent is also responsible to identify opportunities to improve pipeline health and operational efficiencies;
- Develop alternative solutions for the analysis of supply shortfalls impacting internal and/or external customer requirements and ensure root cause identification, corrective action determination and implementation;
- Handles complex planning problems independently, utilizing financial, operational and business judgment and the ability to adapt to ambiguous conditions;
- Responsible for and maintains planning parameters and master data internal to crop science analytical tools and software systems;
- Utilizes delegation to expand scope of influence.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors of Science or Bachelors in Business Administration required in (Sciences, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Mathematics, Business, Information Technology);
- Experience from various backgrounds related to the Crop Science Field or a supply chain background in another field;
- Excellent presentation, training, and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to influence other members of the organization to help achieve goals and increase performance;
- Ability to build relationships and partnerships within the organization;
- Ability to manage projects of high complexity with no or limited direction;
- Demonstrated problem solving abilities;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools;
- Proficient in Enterprise and Crop Science software and analytical tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Five years total experience from various backgrounds related to the Crop Science Field or a supply chain background in another field.
As a Pipeline Planner, you are responsible for the coordination of schedules to meet R&D Pipeline requirements and must demonstrate consistent application of pipeline crop cycle management combined with nursery and field-testing agronomic knowledge. This position is accountable for completing all the virtual tasks required to enable nursery, processing, packaging and field-testing physical delivery activities to be carried out in a manner with meets on time and in full goals, while also preserving the quality and efficacy of the data required to advance the pipeline. This position may supervise contractors.
This role is a Hybrid work model and is based at Bayer R&D Services, Stanton, Minnesota HQ or can sit at one of Bayer's R&D production sites Chesterfield, MO, Creve Coeur MO, Hazelwood MO, St. Louis, MO, Williamsburg IA, Urbandale IA, Ankeny IA, Muscatine IA, Williamsburg, IA, Jonesboro AR, Filer ID, Soda Springs ID, Scott MS, Whitestown IN, Stonington IL, Waterman, IL, White Heath IL, Luling LA, Tifton GA, or Stanton MN, Arlington, WI.
