    As a Cath Lab Registered Nurse, you'll be an integral part of our interdisciplinary healthcare team, directly impacting patients' lives and experiences. You'll provide comprehensive, age-specific care, ranging from biophysical needs to psychological support, adhering to our hospital's philosophy, policies, and standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Employing the nursing process to cater to varying patient needs
    • Collaborating and communicating effectively within the interdisciplinary health care team
    • Ensuring patient rights and nursing ethics are integrated into work practice
    • Upholding infection control standards to protect both patients and staff
    • Demonstrating leadership skills and professional accountability
    • Participating in Performance Improvement initiatives
    • Assuming Charge Nurse responsibilities when required

    Required Qualifications:

    • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current New York registration
    • BSN degree as per stipulations
    • Familiarity with current nursing, medical, and health trends in patient care
    • Prior acute care experience
    • BLS, ACLS, and applicable certifications through American Heart Association
    • Evidence of successful completion of Department and Unit Orientation Program
    • Exceptional teamwork, adaptability, assessment, and communication skills
