    Job Summary and Qualifications

    JOB SUMMARY:

    Under the direct supervision of the Supervisor Nursing Unit, the staff nurse plans, implements, and evaluates and documents nursing care for patients.

    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

    • Less than 1 year

    EDUCATION REQUIRED

    • Associates Degree Nursing or BSN degree *

    LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

    Required:

    • Current Texas Registered Nursing license or identified compact state license - Required Upon Hire
    • BLS - Required Upon Hire
    • ALS - Required Within 6 Months of Hire
    • ENPC - Required Within 12 Months of Hire
    • TNCC or ATCN Required Within 12 Months of Hire
    • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Required Within 60 Days of Hire and Annually

    This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
