A unique Neonatal Nurse Practitioner NICU opportunity is available in sunny Southern Texas with a large, Level IV NICU dedicated to providing the best possible patient care to their community. The Nurse Practitioner NICU will report to the NICU Director and will work with a team of three NICU Nurse Practitioners and the Neonatologist team.

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nurse Practitioner will have previous NICU Level III or Level IV experience and will be able to care for patients independently with the support of the Neonatologists when needed. There are currently the options of both 12 hour and 24 hour shifts available for the NICU NP.

The Neonatal NP will provide patient education to families, communicate care plan and concerns to Neonatologists and NICU RNs, participate in rounds, assess patients, perform care interventions, and order interventions in patient care.
