Avera is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) III looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Averas patient-focused settings.

Job Summary
- The Registered Nurse (RN) is a licensed professional responsible for the delivery of patient care.
- The nurse is guided by professional nursing standards.
- The RN may direct activities of other nursing department personnel.
Education and/or Experience
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse required.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Current licensure in the State of South Dakota as a Registered Nurse or multi-state compact RN license and must be maintained in good standing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required upon hire and must be maintained.
- ACLS is recommended.
- PALS is highly recommended.
- Attends all mandatory hospital and departmental meetings and in-services.
- Participates in educational opportunities and updates/maintains current professional clinical competency related to areas of responsibilities.
Work Schedule
- Monday - Friday; 72 hours every 2 weeks
- 7:00 am - 7:00 pm or 7:00 pm - 7:00 am
- Every other weekend and holiday
- Occasional call time
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $30.50 - $45.25 per hour
