College Nursing Professor
A leading healthcare system located in upstate New York is seeking a Nursing Professor to join their team.
This leading healthcare system opened it's doors to their new college for healthcare careers in 2020 with the goal of preparing aspiring healthcare professionals with knowledge, skills,and competencies necessary to pursue health careers, advanced education, and lifelong learning.
The Nursing Professor will be a pivotal part in educating and training nurses enrolled in the program whether they are first year students or experiencednurses looking to further their professional development. The Nursing Professor will be responsible for developing course outlines and lesson plans that cover a variety of healthcare related skills, concepts, and topics. The Nursing Professor will supervisestudent's clinical work and assess clinical education needs and patient/client teaching needs using a variety of methods.
REQUIREMENTS:
- BSN(Master's Preferred)
- Experience as Charge Nurse, Nurse Preceptor, or Nursing Educator/Professor
- NY State Nursing License
