Location: Eatontown, NJ

Days: Monday - Friday

Hours: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Full-time: Benefit Eligible

In this role, you will:

Responsible for analyzing, performing gross dictation and dissect specimens received in the laboratory for microscopic diagnosis.

• Perform a vital part of the patient care process through embedding and preparing slides for routine H & E and special stain procedures
• Performs and documents scheduled preventative maintenance
• Assure appropriate specimen accessioning and labeling.
• Perform gross description and dissection of specimens received.
• Describe gross anatomic features of routine, uncomplicated surgical specimens, ensuring that all lesions, markings and sutures are mentioned.
• Recognize when troubleshooting is needed for processing, embedding, cutting, staining
• Work in a fast-paced laboratory environment with biological and chemical hazards
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control

All you need is:

• Must qualify as High Complexity Testing personnel under CLIA regulations--
• Bachelors Degree in a chemical or biological science or medical laboratory technology obtained from an accredited institution.
