Sodexo is seeking an experienced culinary leader to join the team as an Executive Chef 2 at Children's Hospital Cincinnati located in Cincinnati, OH. Cincinnati Children's is 500-bed comprehensive pediatric health system. As a leader in research and education, Cincinnati Childrens is consistently ranked as one of America's best children's hospitals by U.S. News & World Reportand is one of the top recipients of pediatric research grants from the National Institutes of Health.

The Executive Chef will be a culinary artist with a passion for creating an exceptional dining experience for patients/guests. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the patient tray-line and retail operations, inventory management and ordering,as well as training and development of employees while ensuring food safety.

The ideal candidate will have a culinary background with experience working in a healthcare and/or hospitality environment!

The successful candidate will:

• help implement and standardize all culinary systems and procedures for hospital;
• supervise, develop, and mentor frontline staff;
• procurement and purchasing;
• help create menus based on client needs;
• help create interpersonal relationships with clients.

We are looking for candidates who have:

• a strong culinary background in a high-volume environment;
• strong leadership skills and experience;
• menu planning experience and a strong understanding of current culinary trends;
• proficient computer skills, highly organized, and detail-focused.

Basic Education Requirement -Associate's Degreeor equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
