    Critical Care Nurse Coordinator (Evenings)

    A Magnet designated hospital located in Southern Connecticut is currently searching for an experienced Critical Care Clinical Coordinator to work the night shift at their reputable hospital facility.

    The Critical Care Clinical Coordinator will be an important asset to this 300+ bed hospital that is currently known for their advanced cancer care, heart services, orthopedics, and women and childrens health services. This hospital is also one of only 17 hospitals to be granted the Planetree Designation that allows them to focus solely on patient-centered care. The Critical Care Clinical Coordinator will be a part of a hospital that is responsible for caring for over 11,000 inpatient and outpatient surgeries, over 2,000 births, and over 55,000 ED visits each and every single year.

    The Critical Care Clinical Coordinator will be a part of a newly renovated Critical Care department that is now home to over 20 beds. This Critical Care department has tailored its unit to put the patient at the center of everything that goes on by equipping the rooms as multi-purpose spaces so most procedures can be done in one area, providing sound proof rooms with an abundance of natural light and ample waiting room for guests, and the staff are always close by within the unit.

    The Critical Care Clinical Coordinator will work within a talented team of medical professionals including a team of board-certified critical care physicians, an advanced team of nurses, and intensive care educators within the unit. The Critical Care Clinical Coordinator will deliver patient care and establish standards of practice within the department as well as provide supervision over the non-nursing staff and other ancillary staff assigned to the unit. The Critical Care Clinical Coordinator will also be responsible for precepting new nursing staff and or students within the department.
