Salary Range: $55,000 - $60,000

This in-office position will work out of the Home Office in Dripping Springs, TX.

Proposal Manager - Education Division

Develop and improve HHS education services proposals as the head proposal writer. Respond to requests for proposals (RFPs) with the aim of securing new or recurring business opportunities. From developing a proposal strategy to overseeing timelines, coordinating proposal-related activities, collaborating with executives, developing content, and executing submissions, you will own all phases of the proposal process.

Responsibilities

• Work hand in hand with the sales team on proposal development, strategy, and delivery
• Evaluate client requirements for incoming requests for proposals (RFP) and other solicitations
• Plan, schedule, and outline storyboard and content development, management reviews, and proposal production
• Assemble appropriate subject matter experts (SMEs) and other personnel to successfully develop a compliant and winning proposal
• Perform research and interview staff to translate complex concepts into a narrative that can be understood by non-technical readers
• Deliver high-impact, compelling writing while tailoring stock content to fit the client's objectives
• Lead teams through strategic reviews and recovery sessions
• Coordinate graphics, layouts, presentations, and other collateral with the marketing and design team
• Produce, package, and track proposal shipments, ensuring submission deadlines are always achieved and the proposal closeout process is complete
• Perform other duties as necessary relating to proposals and sales-related projects

Experience and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in a similar technical/marketing environment
• Experience leading pursuit responses from prepositioning through to proposal submission and interview
• Experience managing teams to deliver by established deadlines
