    THE OPPORTUNITY

    The Maintenance Engineering Manager is responsible for providing Technical Engineering support in order to maximize the availability of manufacturing and test equipment and providing an appropriate working environment for operations and personnel.

    What You'll Work On

    • Oversee the activities and teams within the Maintenance, Energy Center, and Facilities Maintenance departments.
    • Plan, implement and manage all major maintenance activities including repair, replacement, inspection, reliability studies, etc .
    • Manage relevant departmental/project budgets within target and implement CIP/BEx projects as required.
    • Provide technical support and knowledge.
    • Ensure the activities meet quality requirements of all stakeholders, including customers, auditors and other external agencies by ensuring adherence to the required policies and procedures.
    • Measure and report progress against approved timelines.
    • Act as an effective project leader or team member in supporting timelines, quality disciplines, decisions, and practices.
    • Ensure prompt attention of the Area Manager in areas of risk, which might have an adverse effect on product and/or safety.
    • Ensure the department conducts its business in a manner designed to be protective of human health, safety, and the environment.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelors in Engineering or equivalent technical field
    • 3+ years managerial experience

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Supervisory experience
    • 3 years of previous experience in a Food/Nutrition Manufacturing, Medical Device or Pharmaceutical environment
    • Lean Manufacturing / Lean Six Sigma experience

    The base pay for this position is $109,300.00 $218,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
