Retail Trainor, Rides Supervisor, and Rides Managerial
Job Summary: Work and Collaborate with the Rides Full Time Supervisor with the overall management of the rides
department. Oversee the daily operation of the department within budgetary guidelines.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure the safe operation of the park
Take department in-charge shifts
Oversees rides work crew projects
Work with rides full-time to develop and manage department programs
Ensure Guest First Standards are followed and enforced
Ensuring all training requirements and testing procedures are adhered to as set forth by Six Flags.
Handle guest complaints
Other duties as assigned.$12.50 - $18/hr.
Skills and Qualifications:
At least 18 years of age
Be able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language
Previous rides experience
Be available to work flexible hours at night, on weekends and on holidays
Additional Qualifications:
2 years as a ride supervisor (at least 1 year as a senior supervisor)
Must have a valid Drivers License
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must
Must possess an enthusiastic and positive Guest First Orientation and enjoy working with people
Ability to motivate with excellent leadership skills
Must be self-motivated
Outstanding performance as a team member and/or Foreman
Must be able to respond immediately, adapt to, and oversee all emergencies
Strong attention to detailPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Continued sitting, standing, and bending; frequent kneeling.
Eye/hand coordination, near vision, hearing, and speech. Manual dexterity, gross motor skills, and color
definition.
Stand/walk for up to 4 hours at a time and as many as 14 hours a day; walk over 3 miles per day over
various surfaces.
Lift and carry 25 lbs. over 25 feet over various surfaces; lift and lower 5 lbs. above shoulder level.
Must be able to climb a stepladder up to 6 feet in height. Climb a 40-foot tower.
Must be able to walk a two-hundred-foot lift hill.Other Functions:All other duties assigned or necessaryto support the park as a whole.While this job description is intended to be an accurate reflection of the requirements of the job, management reserves the right to add or remove duties when circumstances (e.g., emergencies, changes in workload, rush jobs, or technological developments) dictate.
