Job Summary
- The Registered Nurse is accountable for acute and chronic hemodialysis treatments in caring for patients with end stage renal disease.
- Performs all duties and responsibilities in such a way as to demonstrate and support the hospital's Catholic and Benedictine heritage and Averas values of hospitality, compassion and stewardship.
- Provides care/service in accordance with regulatory and accrediting agencies standards and Catholic Religious Directives.
Education and/or Experience
- Graduate of a registered nursing education program is preferred.
- Prefer 6-12 months experience on Med-Surg Unit.
- 6 months-1 year of experience is preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Must have current RN licensure in the state of SD or multi-state privilege to practice in SD if residing in a compact state outside of SD.
- BLS Certification within 60 days of hire.
Work Schedule
- Day shifts; 72 hours every 2 weeks
- 4:30 am - 5:00 pm, 5:00 am - 3:30 pm
- Every 3rd weekend (Every 3rd Saturday. Sundays off)
- Occasional holiday (Two holidays/year are required)
- Occasional call time
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $29.50 - $44.25 per hour
