Laboratory Technician

ResourceMFG is NOW HIRING an experienced lab technician for a top client in Manchester, TN!

This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity! Be on the client payroll from DAY ONE including receiving all full time benefits.

Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Monday - Friday with OT as needed per production schedule

Pay: TBD based on experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Inspect raw materials including chemicals, packaging components, and labels
• Assist quality inspectors and production with finished product inspections
• Must be able to read and interpret Certificates of Analysis for chemical raw materials
• Use lab equipment to test production batches to ensure they meet specifications (PH, density, specific gravity, viscosity)
• Complete tritation testing on product
• Organize retains of finished product
• Calibrate laboratory equipment and maintain quality lab
• Must be a self starter

Job Requirements:

• Basic understanding of chemistry and math
• Good communication skills
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on occasional basis
• English proficiency - must be able to speak, comprehend and read English
• Great organization is required
• Must have computer literacy and be able to complete some data entry
• Must be able to stand and walk continually throughout 10 hour shift
• Associates degree in Biology or Chemistry preferred but not required
• At least 3 years previous lab experience REQUIRED
