    A little about us...Our most advanced radar systems are designed by our Integrated Warfare System and Solutions (IWSS) team and we are looking for highly talent individuals, like yourself, with a passion for RADAR and Electronic Warfare Technology. We provide surface, air and undersea solutions, including radar and surveillance systems, undersea combat systems, and surface combat systems and sensors.

    This Radar Systems Engineering team applies advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories and concepts to develop revolutionary system solutions. In addition, our RADAR Systems Engineers perform functional analysis, design trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications as well as develop complex algorithms and participate in systems integration and test activities.

    Additionally, the RF Design Engineering Team supports the design, development and test of receiver and exciter subsystems used in ground based, airborne and shipboard radar and electronic warfare applications with a specific focus on RF and Mixed Signal Circuits. In this important role, you will conduct trade studies, perform dynamic analyses, interface with vendors, test RF and Mixed Signal circuitry and interact with engineers of other disciplines.

    The ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance is required. US citizenship is needed.
    Basic Qualifications:
    Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Engineering field such as Electrical, Systems Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering including a general knowledge in Math, Physics or other physical sciences

    Minimum of two years or more of RADAR engineering experience

    U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a DoD Secret level clearance
    Desired Skills:
    Demonstrated proficiency in MATLAB or Python or C++ or equivalent high-level computing language

    Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering tools (Cameo, Rhapsody or similar tools)

    Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills

    Strong customer focus with proven ability to drive complex technical issues/challenges to closure

    Experience with Algorithm definition/development
    Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

    Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
    Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
    Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
    Pay Rate:
    The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $105,000 - $201,100 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

    (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

    This position is incentive plan eligible.
    Pay Rate:
    The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $120,700 - $227,400. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
