    Position Summary...

    What you'll do...

    Walmart Global Tech is looking for a highly skilled Staff Machine Learning Engineer to join our team of data scientists and engineers. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and maintaining machine learning models, as well as experience in working with large datasets. The primary responsibilities of this position will be to design, develop, and maintain software for various machine learning models and model pipelines using cloud technologies with Python, BigQuery and Spark. The candidate will also be responsible for working with data scientists to integrate machine learning innovations and algorithms into production systems.

Focus areas include customers, stores and employees, in-store service, merchant tools, merchant data science, and search and personalization.

    What you'll do :
    • Develop new features, maintain and contribute to Walmart's Machine Learning development tools strategy.
    • Lead large-scale machine learning development projects by reviewing requirements; translating requirements into technical solutions; developing code; communicating status to team and stakeholders.
    • Deploy machine learning models to solve business problems.
    • Work with other engineers to integrate machine learning models into products and services.


    What you'll bring :

    * PHD or Masters in Computer Science with 3+ years of experience in machine learning engineering
    * Experience in developing and maintaining machine learning models
    * Experience in working with large datasets
    * Experience in using Python, BigQuery and Spark
    * Strong communication and teamwork skills
    * Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    * Passion for data science and machine learning

    The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

    Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

    Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

    - Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)

    - Stock equity incentives
