Compiles and analyzes financial information under limited supervision. Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately.
Please note this is remote in our Southeast Region, you must reside in FL, Atlanta, GA, or Lombard, IL.
Responsibilities
-Prepare monthly accounting transactions and reports
- Responsible for closing contracts by making appropriate accounting adjustments and analyzing variance to budget
- Support VP Finance with analysis of significant trends within the organization
- Publish recurring reports to help highlight areas of concern
- Provide financial support and analysis to finance and operations leaders, playing a key role in achieving financial objectives and executing operations strategies
- Prepare client invoices in compliance with the clients contractual requirements
- Assist with the annual budget process and the preparation of the bid model/pricing for new business
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent required. CPA and/or MBA preferred.
- Public accounting experience or 2-5 years experience in FP&A is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to learn additional systems quickly. Knowledge of Oracle/JD Edwards is highly preferred.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize based on company needs.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure, drive projects to completion and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and analytical skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness and ability to travel (approximately 20%).
