Vaccination for COVID-19 and Influenza (flu) is mandatory for all MSK staff. Staff are considered fully vaccinated upon completion of a primary vaccination series for COVID-19 (i.e., one dose of a single dose vaccine or a final dose of a multi-dose vaccine series). Exceptions from the COVID-19 and Influenza (flu) vaccine requirements are permitted for those who request and receive an approved medical, religious, or fully remote exemption. Requests for exemption can take up to two weeks to review. Vaccination or an approved exemption is required to start work.

Job Description:Are you passionate about digital health in the oncology space and leveraging digital technologies to support and accelerate care delivery in the home, population health, clinical research, and consumer interactions? Do you enjoy thinking strategically, solving complex problems, and working with diverse teams? This is the perfect role for you!We have an exciting opportunity within the Health Informatics team within our Digital Informatics and Technology Solutions department for an Associate Director to join us in the fight and cure against cancer.
Health Informatics partners closely with our patients and enterprise stakeholders to co-develop, implement, and advance the use of digital technologies that accelerate care, discovery, and value delivery across the portfolio. We do this by building trusting relationships with MSK's leadership ensuring transparent and efficient collaboration with our teams. With an increased focus on the business context, we formulate digital strategy and align technology solutions with institutional goals with consistent monitoring, ensuring the investment provides clear and measurable value.
You Will:
- Demonstrate clinical market expertise and leverage knowledge of the competitive landscape and changes in relevant trends.
- Cultivate relationships with MSK enterprise sponsors to understand and translate their dynamics, organizational structure, and goals.
- Collect, understand, and prioritize organizational requests, and serve as a strong advocate for enterprise sponsor needs.
- Anticipate and recognize when technology changes or has a high impact on the organization and assist with change management to maximize benefits, minimize operational disruption, and maintain enterprise sponsor confidence and goodwill.
- Partner with and influence DigITs internal stakeholders to ensure appropriate prioritization of resources and planning, in support of digital & MSK strategy.
- Create digital strategy in the domain area, develop corresponding technology roadmaps, and conduct ongoing (re)alignment with enterprise sponsors.
- Ensure value delivery by evaluating external (state-of-the-art) and internal technology approaches.
- Partner and/or consult with Informatics Shared Services as needed to identify relevant data insights to support digital strategy.
- Guide, mentor, and elevate the overall skills and proficiency of the team.
You Need:
- 7+ years exp in Health Informatics with exposure to leading or managing technical teams successfully.
- Experience with patient-facing technologies and care@home programs preferred.
- Superb relationship-building skills
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- The capability and expertise to mentor others
- The ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from, others in sensitive situations.
- Enthusiasm and dedication to MSK's mission, vision, and values.

#LI-HYBRID - Please note this is a hybrid role based at 633 Third Ave in NYC 1-2 times per week with flexibility to travel to our other NYC sites for stakeholder meetings as needed.
