Dietitian Nutritionist II - Healthcare

Sodexo is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to work 20 hours a week for PIH Health System. The PIH Health system includes three acute care hospitals in the Los Angeles, CA area: PIH Health Whittier Hospital, PIH Health Downey Hospital, and PIH Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles, CA.
This position will provide clinical inpatient relief coverage at all PIH Health hospitals. Travel between units will be required and mileage is covered for travel in your personal car.

The successful candidate will report to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, in this role you will:
- Be a registered dietitian with at least 2 years of prior experience in an acute care setting;
- provide medical nutrition therapy to patients with a variety of disease states;
- Electronic Medical Documentation is required in the All Scripts program;
- work collaboratively with a team of clinical dietitians to ensure patient needs are consistently met;
- have a passion for driving and improving the patient experience for the population we serve.

Qualifications & Requirements:Basic Education Requirement -Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) (Note:For those seeking registration after 2023, a masters degree will be required)
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
Credentials Requirement:
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
- Specialty credential in area(s) of focused practice, as applicable, or advanced practice certification (RD-AP/RDN-AP)
