Preventative Maintenance Technician I

We are expanding our services to the resorts we service in the Orlando / Kissimmee area. We are seeking Preventative Maintenance Technicians with 1+ years of basic skilled trades experience. (Basic painting, electrical, plumbing etc.)
You will work at several resorts in the area and earning potential will average $14 - $15 per hour.This is a direct hire permanent position within our teamNOTa third party firm looking to give temp labor.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
This position will be responsible for performing service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical, interior finishes, and appliance servicing while maintaining a safe and friendly environment.
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years of experience as a Preventative Maintenance Tech or similar skilled trade.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot
- Maintain accurate records of work performed
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow written instruction
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must possess a valid drivers license
- Must be able to obtain a MasterCorp Driver Permit
Preferred Qualifications
- Maintenance experience with a resort and/or hotel experience preferred
- 1+ year of experience in the field or in a related area preferred
- Proficient skills in painting, tile, plumbing, carpentry and electrical
- Knowledge of hand and power tools and a mechanical aptitude.
- Works in a team environment in a primarily response role to complete inspections, repairs, and preparation of guest units.
- Assist with preventative maintenance duties and repairs throughout the resort common areas.
- Assist guests and staff in the resolution of unit maintenance concerns, complaints, and questions.
