    Role:

    As an AmeriGas employee you can expect to return home every night. You will represent the AmeriGas brand while safely delivering propane to residential and commercial customers in the communities we serve.

    Requirements:

    • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
    • Must be at least 21 years old
    • CDL B with Hazmat endorsement
    • Great driving record

    Posting

    The hourly rate starts at $28, depending on circumstances including an applicants skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation includes eligibility to earn a performance-based bonus or commissions on completed sales. This is the Companys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

    Responsibilities

    As a localService Representative, you will play a vital role in delivering propane to our customers while ensuring the highest standards of safety and customer service. Duties include, but are not limited to:

    Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes
    Filling residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane
    Delivering propane cylinders to commercial/industrial customers
    Perform all daily functions in a safe manner by adhering to all federal and state codes and regulations in addition to all AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures
    Consistent use of required Personal Protective Equipment
    Depending on fluctuating needs, work 8 to 12-hour shifts

    Previous Experience Can Include But Is Not Required

    • HVAC
    • Plumbing
    • Maintenance or Mechanical Experience


    Requirements

    All Service Representativesshould have a valid class A or B CDL.Must be willing to obtainhazmat and tanker endorsements; reimbursements provided
    Acceptable driving record
    Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test and background check
    Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
    Ability to lift up to 70lbs
