What Does a CNC Operator Do? The essential role of a CNC operator is tosetup and operate CNC machines and equipment. On any given day, an operator may unload raw materials, prepare a test run to ensure a machine is working properly and inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet requirements.

What You'll Be Doing?

• Preparing and operating CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.
  
• Understanding specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
  
• Translating instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function
