Location: Faribault, MN

Hybrid schedule

Salary: $60,000-$75,000


As the staff accountant you're amember of the accounting team that is responsible for the overall integrity, reporting and timeliness of all accounting data that populates the SAP General Ledger system, along with records used to support that system. Ensure the companycomplies with all applicable GAAP, FASB, IRS, creditors, and other regulatory bodies requirements.

Staff AccountantResponsibilities

• Manage fixed assets in SAP:
  • Project accounting
  • Proper coding, assignment of depreciation into SAP, reconciliation, document support
  • Quarterly and year-end audit schedules
• Prepare month-end journal entries
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations
• Sales and use tax compliance and returns
• Review of accounts payable disbursements account coding, legitimacy, timeliness
• Preparation of annual government reports
• License and tax payments to government agencies
• Other duties as assigned

Experience: Bachelors degree required along with 1-3 years of accounting experience.
