The Crown Is Yours
As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, your work will ensure our products run continuously and smoothly as we bring game-changing experiences to our players. In this role, youll design and implement monitoring and alerting strategies that focus on ensuring the reliability and performance of our mission-critical systems and services across our ecosystem. Working cross functionally, youll collaborate with other teams to drive system reliability improvements throughout the development lifecycle. You will play a pivotal role in implementing critical initiatives, optimizing infrastructure, and contributing to a culture of reliability across the organization.
What youll do as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer
Foster a continuous deployment ecosystem that allows us to operate at massive scale.
Enable product teams to manage and self-serve on-prem and cloud infrastructure while ensuring platform stability.
Standardize configuration and deployment methodologies across our growing organization.
Share expertise and mentor junior Engineers in infrastructure patterns and standards.
Participate in our on-call and incident response teams to solve critical problems in production.
Work with infrastructure using tools like Chef and Terraform.
What youll bring
At least 3 years of experience working with cloud environments and provisioning automation.
Experience with one or more observability platforms, specifically Datadog, New Relic etc.
Deep understanding of common programming languages (Python, Ruby, Go).
Experience working with applications written in an object-oriented language (Java, .Net, etc.).
Deep knowledge of networking and web concepts enabling you to debug problems down to the packets.
Experience working with distributed systems and microservices.
Understanding of automated scaling concepts and with messaging infrastructure (Kafka, RabbitMQ etc.).
Understanding of Blue-green, canary and A/B testing strategies.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $128,000.00 - $192,000.00, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
