    SUMMARY: Assists with the planning, developing, evaluating and coordinating activities for the organization under the direction of a manager.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned.

    • Support internal reporting and data collection
    • Assist Design Engineers with developing connector systems based on customer input, production specifications, and test data and standard engineering practices
    • Leverage various tools and technology to analyze data and identify trends (Engineering and design software)
    • Assist team with designing tools for making components for assembly
    • Perform root cause analysis and propose recommendations
    • Ability to work with cross functional teams consisting of several different internal & external departments.
    • Other misc. administrative and operational functions

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESRequires knowledge typically acquired through:

    • One to two years related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret basic scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
    • Ability to write articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format and effectively present information to top management.
    • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
    • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • We seek candidates who have excellent analytical skills, a focus on results, the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas, and creative problem solving abilities.
    • Qualified candidates must also demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, effective teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to quickly assess problems and find workable solutions.
    • Engineering (Mechanical Design, Manufacturing, Industrial, etc. (Will change depending on Major)
    • Have the ability to work 40 hours per week May 20 - August 9, 2024.
    • Current enrollment in a four year Bachelors degree or equivalent and have at least a junior status
    • Minimum 3.0 GPA (Official Transcript May be Requested)
