Summary
The Inventory Coordinator II monitors that all warehouse sites are performing and executing daily inventory control measures and auditing tasks to ensure and maintain a high level of inventory accuracy, both physically and systematically. This individual is responsible for maintaining inventory integrity, facilitating efficient order fulfillment, and contributing to a safe and orderly working environment.
$20 to $23.50 per hour
Due to federal regulations:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or permanent Resident
- Candidate must be able to provide birth certificate and passport as identification
- Candidate must have a valid Ontario driver's license and provide utility bills showing current address
- Candidate must be able to pass RCMP fingerprint background check
- Candidate must have good command over the English language

Essential Functions
- Monitor that all warehouse sites are performing and executing daily inventory control measures and auditing tasks to ensure and maintain a high level of inventory accuracy both physically and systematically.
- Participate, lead, communicate and monitor product re-versioning, POS distribution and all customer special inventory projects as assigned.
- Responsible for ensuring all inventory related transactions are posted and reported according to process guidelines and time allotted.
- Liaise with Logistics Supervisor and Managers, support groups, customers and clients to communicate effectively all inventory issues, requirements and deadlines and to provide routine management information on inventory performance.
- Ensure materials are ready and available for production when required.
- Assist in scheduling, conducting and overseeing regular inventory count activities and random audits.
- Collaborate with the IT (Information Technology) department to help create daily reports to ensure key critical areas of the stock system are controlled and any discrepancies addressed and resolved.
- Ensure integrity and accuracy of the stock management system.
- Provide the appropriate training, development and coaching of the Inventory Control Team on inventory related process.

Skills and Abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in French written and verbal communication skills

- Must be computer literate and able to use the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel & Word required) as well as automated warehouse management systems (WMS) such as AS400, SAP and PKMS
- Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
- Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Able to work within a diverse environment
- Performs work independently with minimal supervision
- Have initiative and able to work under pressure
Qualifications
- College degree/Technical Certification required in a related field. A combination of other education and experiences will be considered.
- Five (5) years or more in all aspects of warehousing, freight logistics and inventory control. required
- Three (3) years or more in a fast-paced warehouse environment performing warehouse duties and production cycle count transactions. required
- One (1) year or more with an RF scanner. required
- Valid Forklift operators certification

Description du poste: Le Coordonnateur snior au contrle d'inventaire surveille que tous les entrepts effectuent et excutent des mesures de contrle et des tches de vrification quotidiennes pour assurer et maintenir un haut niveau de prcision d'inventaire physique et systmatique. Cette personne est responsable de maintenir l'intgrit des donnes d'inventaire, de faciliter le processus efficace des commandes et contribue maintenir un environnement de travail scuritaire et ordonn. Responsabilits: Surveiller que tous les entrepts effectuent et excutent des mesures de contrle et des tches de vrification quotidiennes pour assurer et maintenir un niveau de prcision d'inventare physique et systmatique. Participer, mener, communiquer et surveiller le changement des numros d'item des produits, la distribution des Points de Ventes (POS) et tous projets spciaux des clients lies l'inventaire tels qu'assigns. Responsible de s'assurer que toutes les transactions relatives l'inventaire sont enregistres et rapportes selon les directives et les dlais prescrits. Assurer la liaison avec les superviseurs logistiques et les gestionnaires, les groupes de soutien, les clients et communiquer efficacement tous les problmes d'inventaire, les exigences et les dlais. Fournir des informations de routine sur le rendement de l'inventaire. S'assurer que les produits sont prts et disponibles pour la production lorsque requis. Assiter dans la plannification, la ralisation et la supervision des activits de la prise des inventaires rguliers et des vrifications alatoires. Collaborer avec le department de TI (Technologie de l'information) afin de crer des rapports quotidiens pour assurer que les pincipaux domaines critiques du systme d'inventaire sont contrls, et que les carts sont traits et rsolus. Assurer l'intgrit et l'exactitude du systme de gestion d'inventaire. Fournir la formation, le dveloppement et l'encadrement appropris de l'quipe du contrle d'inventaire sur les processus associs l'inventaire. Responsabilits Supplmentaires: Effectuer dautres tches connexes selon les besoins. Exigences: Diplme collegial / certificat technique (dasn un domain connexe. Une combinaison de scolarit diffrente et d'exprience sera considre., Exig). Cinq (5) ans et plus Experience dans tous les aspects d'entreposage, logistique et contrle d'inventaire {Exig} Trois (3) ans ou plus Experience dans un environnement d'entrept au rythme soutenu, effectuant des fonctions d'entrept et des transactions de comptage cyclique de production {Exig} Un (1) an ou plus Experience avec un numrisateur mobile {Exig} Fortes aptitudes en communication orale et crite. (Exig). Trs bonne matrise des communications crites et orales en langue franaise. Pour les emplacements du Qubec seulement. (Exig). Comptences et aptitudes supplmentaires.
