Sodexo has an outstanding opportunity for a Registered Dietitian as the Clinical Nutrition program at Sutter Medical Center Santa Rosa, located in Sonoma County in the heart of Northern California's wine country. This role will oversee 2 locations offering a hybrid work schedule with remote flexibility.

Reporting to the General Manager, the ideal candidate will:

• Be a Registered Dietitian with 3- 5 years of prior experience in a health-care setting;
• serve in a leadership role on the Food and Nutrition Services team;
• have a visible role with client interaction, representing the department on hospital-wide medical staff committees and be an outstanding team player with excellent communication and customer service skills;
• be responsible for supervising and developing a team to foster successful patient care programs, manage a team or 3 to 7 experienced employees and will also support the clinical nutrition needs of the facility;
• Have demonstrated skills to manage and develop a clinical staff; monitoring and evaluation of nutrition care services; accreditation and regulatory readiness and review; and establishing and maintaining standards of care.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Basic Education Requirement: Bachelor's degreewith completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

[Note: For those seeking registration after 2023, a masters degree will be required]

Basic Management Experience: At least 13 months experience supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes.

Basic Functional Experience: 3 years as experienced practitioner able to work unsupervised and provide professional supervision to developing practitioners

Credentials Requirement:

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
