Our client, a Distribution Companyis seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join their team. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will be part of the great companysupporting the warehouse's general tasks. The ideal candidate will have time management, organizational, and communication skillswhich will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Shipping and Receiving

Location: Union City, CA

Pay Range: $20.00/hr. / Incetive Pay


Thursday-Saturday 2PM 10 hour shift

Whats the Job?

• Receives (checks in) parts, stock and materials. Compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment;
  
• Inspects incoming stock, parts and materials and other shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and accepts or rejects in accordance with company policies
  
• Places all parts, stock and materials in appropriate area or delivers parts as needed, logs inventory and delivery in accordance with company policies
  
• Retrieves (pulls) purchased parts from inventory on request or if the requested parts are not in inventory notifies Supervisor or appropriate parts department personnel.
  
• Keeps accurate records of special order parts requested
  
• Clears the service and body shop area of scrap and discarded or unusable materials
  

Whats Needed?

• 1+ year of warehouse experience
  
• Pallet Jack experience is a PLUS
  
• Shipping expereince
  
• Pass background and drug test
