    Maintenance Tech

    FULL-TIME

    $27.03/hr

    Wages range from $27.03-35.64 depending on level and experience

    Job Summary:

    The General Maintenance Worker will perform general maintenance and diagnose, repair, rebuild, and replace mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as any other building systems.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.

    Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs.

    Plans repair work using buildings blueprints or equipment prints/manual as needed.

    Performs routine maintenance all equipment and building systems.

    Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.

    Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.

    Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers.

    Knowledge of general mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and repair.

    Ability to use hand tools and power tools.

    Excellent organizational and time management skills.

    Education and Experience:

    High school diploma or equivalent required.

    Related experience preferred.

    On-the-job training offered.

    Physical Requirements:

    Prolonged periods standing and walking on concrete floors.

    Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.

    Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    Must be willing to pursue ongoing technical training to enhance capabilities.

    Be passionate about maintaining a safe work environment.

    Ability to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as needed.

    Must have own tools.

    Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    Technical degree and/or practical application experience in successfully troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery and equipment.

    Experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly within the corrugated or packaging industry.

    Schedule

    Shift start: 6:00AM or 12:00AM or 2:00PM
    Shift length: 8 hours
    Days - 6 a.m.-2 p.m., Afternoons 2-10 p.m. and Midnight - 10 p.m.-6 a.m.
