Med/Surg - Post-op Orthopedics/Spine/ General Surgery - Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

24 months of role experience is required.

24 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience is required.

3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license prior to placement start.

Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be eligible to apply for this role.

Flu vaccination required for onboarding. Declinations not accepted.

Weekends: Every Other

Must have Dysrhythmia training

Scrub Color - Galaxy Blue Top (only): pants can be Galaxy blue or black

Currently a med-surg unit but moving toward Progressive care.

Focus is on post-op patients having Orthopedic or Spine surgery. Orthopedic surgeries primarily performed are total hip, knee and shoulder replacements. Foot and ankle surgeries as well. Spine surgeries include Laminectomies and fusions. We also admit various other Med-Surg patients when surgery volumes are lower.
