Job Title: Software Design Engineer 1
Location: Remote
Contract Duration: 18 months
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week (6am-6pm) - Flexible schedule to accommodate international team
Pay Rate: $36 - $45/hour

Overview:

Our client, a leading technology company, is seeking a skilled Software Design Engineer 1 to join their team. The position involves actively participating in the development of software programs, applications, and network products. The role is crucial for supporting the migration of code bases into a .NET structure, with an emphasis on secure code management.

This role offers exposure to multiple technologies and projects, particularly in internal tools development. The fast-paced projects provide an excellent opportunity for learning and professional growth. Access to different technologies allows individuals to own significant features within projects.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development of software programs and applications.
  
• Perform design and analysis tasks as a collaborative team member.
  
• Proactively identify issues and coordinate resolutions.
  
• Support the migration of code bases into a .NET structure.
  
• Implement changes related to library updates, configurations, and security enhancements.
  

Typical Task Breakdown:

• Attend daily stand-up meetings.
  
• Engage in self-driven work, focusing on development, task execution, and configuration.
  
• Contribute to key projects, such as Azure and the creation of a new portal for task consolidation.
  

Required Qualifications:

• Years of Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience.
  
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
  
• Technical Skills:
  • Experience in .NET coding.
    
  • SQL (Sequel).
    
  • Working experience in deploying Azure.
