    Position Overview

    Advanced Middleware Developer is a key position within the Data Management team, responsible for the development, test and implementation of best coding practices in complex Integration solutions for the organization, including application connectivity, Performance, Security and audit. This role will be engaged in all phases of the API lifecycle, and follows all the best practices that were put in place. Successful candidate will have a proven track record demonstrating sound technical and business knowledge.

    What Youll Do

    • Design and develop data ingestion frameworks, leveraging open-source tools and data processing frameworks.

    • Enhance data solutions that enables seamless integration and flow of data across the data ecosystem.

    • Support and maintain existing integration solutions for Middleware systems for operational and analytical applications.

    • Required to work in other areas of Data Enablement lifecycle, including batch and real time processes using SQL Server, SSIS ETL/ETL, MuleSoft as needed.

    • Define and design processes for implementing and validating data lineage, quality checks, classification, sensitive data remediation etc. to ensure data governance policies are followed.

    • Prototyping and delivering data integrations and applications in varied deployment models on premise, cloud, and hybrid.

    • Serves as resource to internal and third-party team members on escalated issues and analyzing and designing specifications for less experienced team members

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree with 7+ years experience or masters degree with 5+ years experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or another quantitative field.

    • 5+ years experience in Application development - designing, implementing data persistence, data processing, data integration and MDM Solutions and 2+ years of experience working in MuleSoft Platform and development. MuleSoft Cloudhub experience is an added advantage.

    • Has experience utilizing data warehouse technologies, Middleware technologies, MDM, big data tools including Hadoop and Spark eco system, including tools like Python/Scala. Experience with design of traditional data warehouse and Big Data Systems which requires queries returning within sub-second response times. As well as experience in designing and building complex data pipelines moving and transforming data for ODS, Staging, Data Warehousing and Data Marts, MDM, including Middleware Integrations.

    • Experience with processing semi structured and unstructured files using different traditional SQL and modern object-oriented scripting languages such as Python, Scala, etc. As well as experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases

    • Experience with Hadoop/Spark ecosystem is preferred.
