Job Summary and Qualifications

Supervise daily operations of the respiratory service department. Supervise resources, distributes work assignments and collaborates with manager in meeting hospital and departmental goals.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy education program approved by Commission of Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC)
• Current California RCP license. RRT preferred but not required
• Current BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
• Minimum 1-year experience in therapeutic and diagnostic bronchoscopies.
• Minimum 2-years as lead or prior supervisor of RT department.
• Minimum 2-years Critical Care areas, Intensive Care, Emergency Room, Trauma and pediatric respiratory care experience.
• Minimum 2-years with NICU level II or III, capable to intubate newborn independently
