    The Leidos Intelligence Group has a career opportunity for a System Administrator in Annapolis Junction, MD.

    Program Summary
    Leidos is a subcontractor on a large, multi-year contract that provides hardware and software sustainment of large IT systems. Contractors perform dataflow changes, lifecycle management including modernization of aging hardware and software, as well as system monitoring.

    Job Summary

    The System Administrator provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems. Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process. Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.

    The ideal candidate for this position must have experiencewith Linux (Red Hat), Saison, and Ansible.

    Required Qualifications

    • Fifteen (15) years of relevant professional experience providing system administration support.
    • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline.
    • An Information Assurance Technical (IAT) level II baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M.
    • TS/SCI with Polygraph
    • Experience with:
      • Linux (Red Hat), Saison, and Ansible

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with the Cable mission

    Pay Range:

    Pay Range $108,550.00 - $196,225.00

    The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
