    The Oregon City, OR site was established in 1973 and joined the Orchid team in 2012. Our 80,000 square foot facility employs approximately 300 team members. We specialize in hip and knee joint implants that enable our customers to live a longer active life. We are a full-service plant, meaning our team can manufacture medical implants from start to finish in-house.     A BRIEF OVERVIEW


    As the HR Generalist, you will play a critical role in shaping our site culture by supporting leaders and team members, while driving our HR strategy forward. Reporting to the HR Manager on site, you will partner with HR centers of excellence to implement and leverage tools and systems, maintain, and improve HR processes, and support our business accomplishments.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    You will be a strategic partner to the business and implement a variety of HR strategies and goals surrounding the HR Key Focus Areas.

    The HR Key Focus areas and elements are:

    • Talent Alignment and Development Unleash the potential of our workforce by supporting our talent pipeline to meet current and future needs, while focusing on performance management, results-driven rewards, and leadership development.

    • Talent Support Empower our Orchid Team globally by providing top-notch support in areas like compensation, benefits, payroll, HR information systems, data and reporting, positive employee relations, policies and compliance, and safety.

    • Embrace a culture of positive employee relations by fostering an environment of collaboration, teamwork, and respect.

    • Coordinate recruitment efforts for open positions, supporting hiring managers in hiring decisions, onboarding new team members, and collaborating with temporary and recruiting agencies.

    • Champion change communications and support seamless transitions with positivity.

    • Own site administration by maintaining data in our HRIS system (Workday) and by interpreting and explaining HR policies, procedures, and standards to support site leaders.


    EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor (Preferred)


    EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

    • 3+ Years of HR Experience as a HR Partner, Generalist, or Specialist (Required)

    • Experience in Organizational Change Management (Preferred)

    • Experience leading, managing, and facilitating HR/Talent Alignment initiatives (Preferred)

    • Experience managing employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance improvement plans (Preferred)

    • Manufacturing Experience (Preferred)


    LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

    • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) - Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) (Preferred)

    • SHRM-CP SHRM (Preferred)
