We are seeking a dynamic healthcare leader that has several years of experience inPerformance Improvement / Quality Assurance and Risk Managementat an acute-care hospital setting. Five (5) years experience in a hospital setting with three (3) years in a behavioral healthcare setting is preferred. This leader needs to be self-motivated, focused on excellence and a team player.
POSITION SUMMARY:
- Serves as Compliance Liaison
- Implements and facilitates the Performance Improvement and Risk Management programs.
- Directs hospital compliance with laws, regulations and the standards of the accrediting and approval agencies, including state licensure, CMS and Joint Commission.
- Coordinates compliance activities with the Haven Compliance Officer.
- Oversees implementation of policy and procedures.
- Serves as the hospital Safety Officer and EOC Coordinator.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare related field. Master's level degree preferred. RN preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- Five (5) years experience in healthcare with three (3) years behavioral experience preferred.
- Knowledge of laws and regulations of federal, state and local governmental agencies.
- Should be knowledgeable about the standards, rules and regulations of accrediting agencies as applicable to the facility preferred.
- Must be experienced in Performance Improvement / Quality Assurance and Risk Management in a leadership capacity.
