Sodexo Healthcare has an excellent opportunity for a Full TimeDietitian Nutritionist for Siskin Rehab Hospital, located in Chattanooga TN. Siskin Rehab is comprised of acute rehab (~75%) and sub-acute rehab/long term care (~25%). Siskin Hospital has specialized inpatient treatment programs in brain injury, stroke, orthopedics, and major multiple trauma, among other illnesses and disorders.

Located in easternTennesseealong the Tennessee River at the Appalachian Mountains foothills, Chattanooga is surrounded by breathtaking views and natural areas that make for the ideal outdoor adventure!

Work Monday thru Friday!
Start with 3 weeks vacation and 3 personal days!
Reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal!
Money toward continuing education events!
Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually!

The successful candidate will:

• provide nutritional care to the acute rehab, sub-acute rehab and long term care patients;
• conduct quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and test trays;
• meet DOH/state/federal and company standards;
• be an active member of the interdisciplinary care conferences;
• educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses;
• represent the Food & Nutrition Department as a liaison with the medical and nursing staff; and
• support the food service operation as needed.

Basic Education Requirement -Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) (Note:For those seeking registration after 2023, a masters degree will be required)

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision

Credentials Requirement:

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
• Specialty credential in area(s) of focused practice, as applicable, or advanced practice certification (RD-AP/RDN-AP)
