Location:Hilton Garden Inn Key West / The Keys Collection is a brand new hotel that debuted in Key West, the southernmost city in the continental USA, in April 2016. This upscale hotel is set at the entry point of Key West on North Roosevelt Boulevard and is convenient to the island's best attractions such as Old Town, Mallory Square, Smathers Beach and the Hemingway House. The hotel is also close to Duval Street, the center of the action, where Key West's best restaurants, bars, nightlife and shopping reside. Boasting 141 brand new guest rooms, the hotel's facilities include a restaurant, indoor and outdoor bars, pool and Concierge desk, plus an abundance of complimentary amenities.

The Senior Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for coordinating, supervising and directing all Outlets, Catering and Room Service operations, while maintaining profitable F&B outlets and high quality products and service levels. He/she is expected to market ideas to promote business; reduce employee turnover; maintain revenue and payroll budgets; and meet budgeted productivity while keeping quality consistently high. The ideal candidate will manage the F&B Outlets while build relationships with new and returning guests, anticipate guest needs and be able to lead the team to the next level. We are seeking a high energy, enthusiastic, highly organized and passionate F&B Leader.
Responsibilities:- Employees must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow employees.
- Oversee all aspects of the daily operation of the hotels restaurant, catering and room service operation with the assistance of other managers and director of food and beverage.
- Supervise all F&B personnel
- Respond to guest complaints in a timely manner.
- Assist in catering sales as necessary
- Read and execute Event Orders
- Schedule and staff events
- Keep the Director of Food and Beverage fully informed of all problems or matters requiring his/her attention.
- Complete and distribute each days hospitality function assignment for the next shift (if applicable).
- Ensure effective communications between shifts.
- Coordinate and monitor all phases of Loss Prevention in the F%B operation.
- Prepare and submit required reports in a timely manner.
- Ensure preparation of required reports, including (but not limited to) Wage Progress, payroll, revenue, employee Schedules, quarterly actions plans.
- Monitor quality of service.
- Assist in menu planning and preparation and assist with developing a superior wine and beverage program.
- Ensure compliance with all local liquor laws, and health and sanitation regulations.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs in all outlets.
- Ensure compliance with requisition procedures.
- Be the leader on the dining room floor and direct all staff.
- Comply with weekly and monthly forecasting procedures.
- Be involved in and/or conduct departmental and hotel training (CARE,One to One), etc.
- Interview candidates for front-of-house F&B positions and follow standards for hiring approvals.
- Understand, implement and monitor corporate promotions in outlets, including buffet and three-meal concept standards.
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field; or a 4-year college degree and at least 3 years of related experience; or a 2-year college degree and 4 or more years of related experience.
- 1 years Catering and Event experience
- Organized Labor experience preferred
- Long hours sometimes required.Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.

- Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.

- Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings.
- Participate in M.O.D. coverage as required.
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Highgate Hotel Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing nametags.
- Comply with Highgate Hotel Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.
- Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
- Must be able to understand and evaluate complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
- Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
