An accredited acute care hospital located in the southern Maryland region is currently searching for an experienced Wound Care Registered Nurse to join their award-winning healthcare team.

This full-service acute care hospital is home to nearly 200 licensed beds and proudly services more than one million residents of the southern Maryland region each year. This established medical destination cares for more than 50,000 emergency visits and 12,000 admission each year. The Wound Care Registered Nurse will join a medical destination that offers a number of specialties including internal medicine, behavioral health, oncology and cancer care, advanced surgical services, cardiovascular and pulmonary services, and womens health among many others.

The Wound Care Registered Nurse will join an advanced team of healthcare professionals that specialize in treating the most complex non-healing wounds. This service line provides services for wounds resulting from burns, diabetes, osteomyelitis, ostomy care and support, pressure sores, renal disease, soft tissue radiation injuries, steroid dependence, trauma, venous stasis, and wounds of arterial, venous, or lymphatic origin.

Under supervision of the Nurse Supervisor, the Wound Care Registered Nurse will provide patient care with an ostomy, wound, or skin care need. Bachelors degree from an accredited school of nursing is required with current state nursing licensure.
