Experience:

24 months of role experience is required.

12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required.

Experience with Meditech is required.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license in hand at the time of application.

This role may require floating to additional units and locations

Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be considered a traveler when applying for this role.

COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Guaranteed hours: 36

Every other weekend.

Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Basic surgical-appys, choles, etc, some ortho-shoulders, hips, knees; basic cardiac, day 2 post STEMI, medical, COPD, suicidal pts, renal disease, large geriatric population-lots of wounds, bedsores, some trauma Wound care nurse in house M-F will set up tx plan for floor RNs to follow.

Holiday Requirement: rotate in with core staff

Shifts starting at 6:45.

Floating Requirements? Intermixed between tele and MS on this floor. May float to ICU or ER to care for overflow. Will float in perm staff rotation. First to float.

Scrub Color/Dress Code/Scrubs provided? Navy with solid undershirt
