    Job Summary and Qualifications

    • You will operate x-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body.
    • Under the supervision of a Radiologist, your role performs x-ray therapy on patients and explains procedures to patients and addresses their concerns.
    • Your role will serve patients in our emergency department, patients in our hospital, and outpatient patients in need of services as well.
    • You will perform procedures in accordance with established protocols for patients ages neonate through geriatric.
    • Your role will be responsible for maintaining expert technical and patient-care skills and providing quality diagnostic results.

    Required Job Qualifications include:

    • Completion of an AMA approved Radiology Technology training program with current certification by ARRT.
    • Must maintain current registry by attending continuing education activities to maintain knowledge and skill level.
    • BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
    • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
    • Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
    • Prefer 2 years recent acute care experience.
